Hello there! I will be using this blog to document my experiences playing Minecraft. Why would I do that you ask? If you have never played Minecraft, that is a perfectly reasonable question to ask.
A brief description for those not familiar with it:
Since the game has no real story (all they tell you is your character's name is Steve), I decided to write my own. I thought it would be cool to dramatize the events that happen while I'm playing the game as the main character writes letters to the one he loves.
Please let me know what you think in the comments!
Thanks,

A brief description for those not familiar with it:
When you first start the game, the game world is generated randomly and you are standing somewhere empty handed in the sun. You have the ability to pick up and place various blocks (like Legos) to make pretty much anything you want. Time passes much faster in the game than in real life and once the sun goes down, monsters will appear and they are quite dangerous! You have to build yourself a shelter to survive the night. The ultimate goal of the game is to craft items like a Pick-Axe or Sword by gathering materials which you can then use to gather more materials. What makes the game so perfect for telling a story is that it is so dynamic, everyone has a unique experience since things are randomized and monsters will often do things you don't expect.
